Sometimes the worst part about putting kids to bed is reading when I can barely keep my eyes open.
But the minute I crawl into bed with my little guys, I’m a reading machine! Suddenly I have to put a limit on myself or we’ll all be up all night!
For kids under 8 I do NOT like long books, books with too many words or books with few photos. Even I get bored.
I’m a huge fan of strong, unusual text that tells a story in a clever or unique way.
