Disney is perfect. Or so we are made to believe!
Check out this receipt a man got after he bought a frozen banana at a stand at Disneyland.
He didn’t notice till after he walked away and when he went back to tell the cashier, it took the Disneyland staff (managers) 30 + minutes to correct this charge. IE credit this back AND charge him for the right amount! Yes! After 30 + minutes of waiting them to correct a mistake THEY made, (this guy lost 30 + minutes of Disneyland line time) they STILL made him pay $3.95 for the banana!
Here is what I summarized in my head after I was told this story buy the guest:
- This guy is cool! His bank allows him to charge that much in a single transaction!
- Disneyland staff are taught how to charge, never how to credit.
- Nothing. Nothing. Nothing is EVER free at Disneyland.
Revenge: passing his receipt on. He saved it.
Disneyland does so many things right, this one? Fail.
